How do I create an account?

Visit our landing page and click "Start Free Today". You can create an account using your email. No credit card is required for the free plan.

How do I create my first goal?

After logging in, click the "Create Goal" button on your dashboard. Choose a category, set a title, description, and time horizon. Goalnix will auto-generate a smart breakdown with milestones and tasks.

What's included in the free plan?

The free plan includes up to 3 active goals, basic task management, progress tracking, and access to all 7 languages. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited goals, priority tags, analytics, and more.

What languages are supported?

Goalnix supports English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Chinese, and Arabic (with full RTL support). More languages are coming soon.

Is there a mobile app?

Goalnix is a responsive web app that works beautifully on all devices. A native mobile app is on our roadmap for 2026.

Account & Billing
How do I change my email or password?

Go to Settings → Account. You can update your email, password, and display name from there.

How do I upgrade to Premium?

Navigate to Settings → Billing & Subscription and click "Upgrade". We accept PayPal for secure payments. You can cancel anytime.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. Your Premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This action is permanent and will remove all your data. We recommend exporting your goals first.

What is "Smart Breakdown"?

Smart Breakdown uses intelligent templates to automatically generate milestones and tasks for your goal based on your category and time horizon.

Can I edit tasks after they're created?

Absolutely. Click on any task to edit its title, description, deadline, priority, and status. You can also drag and drop to reorder tasks.

How do priority tags work?

Each task can be assigned a priority from Low to Critical. Goalnix uses these priorities plus deadlines and time estimates to calculate your "Most Impactful Task".

How is progress tracked?

Goal progress is calculated based on the percentage of completed tasks. Each goal shows a progress bar and percentage on the dashboard and goal details page.

What goal categories are available?

Goalnix supports 6 categories: Business, Health, Education, Finance, Skills, and Personal. Each category has optimized smart breakdown templates.

Features
Can I drag and drop to reorder tasks?

Yes! In the task list view, you can drag and drop tasks to reorder them. This is a Premium feature.

Is dark mode available?

Yes, Goalnix supports both light and dark themes. Toggle using the moon/sun icon in the navbar. Your preference is saved automatically.

What analytics are available?

Premium users get access to the Analytics dashboard with completion rates, task distribution charts, streak tracking, and productivity insights.

Can I export my data?

Yes, you can export all your goals and tasks as JSON or CSV from Settings → Account. Your data belongs to you.

Troubleshooting
The app isn't loading properly

Try clearing your browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+R), or try a different browser. If the issue persists, contact us at support@goalnix.com.

I forgot my password

Click "Forgot Password?" on the login page and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link within minutes.

How do I report a bug?

We appreciate bug reports! Use our Contact page or email support@goalnix.com with a description and screenshots if possible.
